Here are a few pictures from the LSBA youth archery range we set up at the Great Outdoor Expo in Lubbock on March 24th & 25th.

The turnout was not as big as last year’s event due to many people staying home to watch the Texas Tech basketball team play in the Elite 8 on Sunday. Even with that we still had quite a few kids come through our range. A special thanks to some of our local LSBA members and to the folks at the Archery Shack for their help in running the event, especially Pat Riedel and Josh Williams who were there all day both Saturday and Sunday.  (Pat also helped me set up the event on Friday).

Amanda Brandenburg  and Angela Zesiger (along with her two kids) were also there to help the better part of both days. We also had a few others help either Saturday or Sunday. I could not have done it without them.

I encourage other members to participate in running these type events whenever they can. It is extremely enjoyable and rewarding knowing you are doing your part to introduce new people to this sport we so dearly love.
