Default Jul-Aug-Sep Issue

I received the latest issue today. Haven't had a chance to study it but the cover has a great pic on it, one we have seen before.

Chunky is now our hero with his pic on the front cover. The one with him standing above the mule deer waiting for it to step out and be greeted with an arrow.

Congrats for making the front cover. We all now have something to shoot for in more ways then one. 8)

Congratulations to Joey and Roger for a fine effort. The magazine really looks good, well done!

THAT HAS GOT TO BE THE BEST COVER I'VE SEEN ON A MAGAZINE TO DATE!

Very nice Joey and whoever else was involved in making this magazine happen.

DANGIT!!! Didn't get mine yet!

Thanks for the kind words and glad to know you like our first attempt...I hope it will only get better with team-work. I'm sure Roger (NDNRoger, Layout/Graphics Editor) will appreciate knowing you like the cover, Tracey.

Got mine today. I would think yours would have gotten here today too, Joey.

I am glad that everyone seems to be pleased with the cover. I am a little disappointed. The "LONE STAR" was supposed to be more blue and not purple. I will have to talk to the printer and find out what happened. I am sure it was something I did.

Unfortunately, I have already read it before I sent it to the printer.

I do see a mistake. It sort of sticks out like a sore thumb.

I see where there is plenty I can improve on once I get the hang of the software. I have already improved the little arrows at the end of the stories. (my own personal touch)

Any feedback is appreciated. Good and bad.

As Joey said, "We need more stories!"

got mine todayand WOW!!!

Great job guys really outstanding and I am not just saying that because you used some of my stuff.

I would like to get a couple extra copies to send to my friends who took the cover photo and my father. I would gladly contribute say 20 bucks to the cause for 3 or 4 of the extras. I don't know who keeps the left overs. I know I picked up a couple of boxes one time from the printer to bring to the spring hunt. If Tomme or someone would could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Chunky I believe the extra copies are still being sent to Janie Lassman so you might try her first. I don't think we've ever charged for giving out a couple of extra's. Maybe you can tuck in an application blank or two when you give the magazine to your friends. Save the money for raffle tickets and the Concrete Pig on the next hunt.

Joey, you and Roger did a fine job on this issue. Thanks! Now you're going to be challenged to make the next one better! I can't wait.

Hi Ron!

I meant to put in a statement about that. Half this issue and half next issue. Sorry. With everything going in, things had to be cut. I completely forgot to add the "next issue" thing!

Gentlemen,
The Records System is a integeral part of the LSBA and any infomation concerning the ability to reach certified measurers around the State is important to the growth of the TBBR and the LSBA. In the past, the Editors have made sure that this has been listed in its entirety in every issue.
If you have a problem with this, feel free to contact me or the President of LSBA. And if the President has a problem with me, he will contact me!
Again, nice job on the magazine.

Ron,

I do not have a problem with you or anyone else. I realize how important TBBR is to you and LSBA and its members. I made a judgment call and was wrong. I will see about reducing the size of the list to make it fit on two pages.

Again, I apologize.
