Default Hello everyone

Folks, I'm the new Editor for the magazine. I'll tell you that I'm soliciting stories and photos for the magazine. Photos, in any format, photos, slides, digital (high resolution) are needed for me to make selections for the next issue. When submitting photos, please give me the: who, what, where, when, how, and the equipment used. The more information I get, the easier it is to put it together. I mentioned photos, but I'm looking for stories too. I'd like to think that we can emplace between five to seven stories per issue, since we're putting out a quarterly publication. Hunting stories, funny stories, adventure stories are all welcome. We want to make this an informatiive, educational and fun magazine. If you can send me something that'll put a smile on my face, it'll probably put a smile on our readers' faces too. And send your trophy photos too. I don't want them taken in the back of a truck, or hanging from inside your garage. Send them from where you shot them - in the field. DO clean off the blood and stick the tongue back into the animal's mouth. We don't need the PETA or other organizations lambasting us about "gruesome" photos. Make them in good taste, with the happy hunter and his or her bow. Send me your best, and I'll try to project our best in the magazine. And just to let you know, I have a "soft" spot for our younger hunters, and women hunters - in the woods. I kinda feel that audience will be our future. I look forward to meeting you, and most especially sharing stories around a campfire somewhere. I can be reached at: RDTorres33@msn.com

Glad you're feeling better and back in the saddle. I'll send you some pictures from the ranch, and will try to get some stories. I'm headed to Africa on June 17th, and will have some pictures and stories when I get back.
