Default Hunters Extravaganza~Houston--Volunteers Needed!!

LSBA will have our Free Youth Archery Booth set up at Hunters Extravaganza on August 3, 4 & 5 and we need volunteers!! We will also be signing up members. We will have four badges, so it would be great if we could get a group of 4 to work in the morning and another in the afternoon. Bobster and I will be setting up on the 3rd, so we will need two more people for that day. Doublej will be there Saturday and Sunday. Please contact me at (409) 739-2630 or denakana@gmail.com if you are interested in helping out. The event will be held at Reliant this year. If you are out and about, stop by to say hi!

Aw, come on Dena, did ya HAVE to put that picture of Chunky in there? He's more giddy about shooting bows than the youngest of newbs.

Let me talk it over with the wife and I may be able to make it over there on the 4th. If its okay for my kids to tag along. They could help too to some extent. Have to check to see if the two tanks of gas is in the budget though.

Of course, it is okay for the kiddos to tag along!!! Mine go all the time! Hope you get to make it out!

Chunky and his giddiness provide the entertainment, but sometimes it is difficult to get the bows away from him so the kids can shoot!

A couple of pics of DJ in there as well, I would call her little chunk, but she is as slim as the they come.

I am going to keep coming to these things until someone takes a pic of me where I look good  insert joke here!

Dena, now that I am not hunting this weekend, I can probably help out some. We do have the shoot at Saltgrass as well, which I want to go to also.

I would like to shoot with Buff, it is hard for me to find guys that make me look good. and if I buy him lunch, he gives me a free lesson at the 3-D shoots.

What are the hours of the extravganza and do we get in free with those badges? Is it outside in Reliant Stadium or did I miss something?

There's something you don't read everyday!

Bobby and I plan on being at the State Shoot on Saturday and I will probably be out there Sunday. Bobby and I will set up at the TTHA show on Friday and Jack will take down on Sunday, so we just need to fill in the other volunteers. Jack will be there Saturday and Sunday. Brandon will be there on Sunday. I believe the Baluseks will be there also, but Mr. Balusek will be coming home from Africa right before the show.

Do you know what day you are shooting? We can make sure that you and Buff have your together time at the range.

It is inside Reliant. Yes, you get in free with the badge. When one volunteer finishes, he/she will need to turn in their badge at Will Call for the next person to pick up. If someone doesn't turn in there badge, they will have to answer to Buff! I will check on the hours and get back to you!

Well, too many things going on. I need a rest. I'll probably go hunt carp and do some scouting Saturday. Y'all enjoy the trip.

Where do we sign up for the TPW expo? I want to work the recruiting booth in the morning and shooting booth in the afternoon on that Saturday. I'll lock that one into my calendar... Doubt I'll be making the Fellowship hunt in April as I'm hoping to hunt with some other folks then. These are friends from out of state.

Hey, do me a favor. Don't let them pull the bows past their ears? Just gives me the willies. :P

August4th--Doublej, Chunky, Buff

I believe the Baluseks and TexasRio and her boyfriend will be helping on one of the days.

Volunteers are still needed for Saturday morning and Sunday.

Thanks to all who have volunteered to help!
