Dena I have a rooster shooting story too. My granddad had one that would chase us and I just wanted to scare him, but I planted the arrow right under his wing and it went through to the other side. He ran off and we tried our best to catch him before granddad saw but never could. Next morning when granddad went to the barn to feed, sure enough there was his rooster running around with that arrow stuck in him. We did finally caught him and pulled the arrow out and that darn rooster lived another 4-5 years, but he never chased us kids again.
