Easy. This is completely based on the total number multiplied by the combined size of all smiles generated from the time I walk out the front door until the time I'm home and finished telling my wife, daughter, and extended family on the web about the trip. 
There are extra points for quality of food and beverage consumed on the trip but there's no need to complicate things here.
