Thanks for the in-put. It is interesting to see a lot of things come full circle in the world of archery. Back in the '60's, fiberglass arrows arrived on the market, and I shot the "Browning Micites" for several years, and had good results. They were heavier than the present day carbons, but I don't think they were as tough as far as everyday abuse. Like the fiberglass, they are straight or broke!
I did make a purchase, I chose to opt for the mid-range cost, being Carbon Express/Terminator Hunter 4560/River Bottom Camo Pattern. I put 5" feathers on one end and the Montec G-5 125 grain 3-blade on the other end. (Having shot the Snuffer 3 blade for years, I like the hole and blood trail 3 blades make.)
I am extremly pleased with the way the carbons perform out of my Bob Lee.
