Default Lufkin Bowyer looses battle with Menegitis

Bowyer Greg Rudd of Crazy Horse Primitive Weapons of Lufkin, Texas died Wednesday of Bacterial Spinal Meningitis.

Rudd worked as a licensed vocational nurse in the catheterization lab of Memorial of Health System of East Texas and also owned the Lufkin Sports Judo Club. He was a fourth degree black belt and was a Level 2 martial arts instructor.

Rudd was known for making beautiful, handcrafted longbows and was the Texas archery champion for three consecutive years and a Louisiana archery champion for two years.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda, and three children, Shana, Nathan and Trevor. He was 41.

Prayers go out to the Rudd Family.
