Default LSBA Fellowship Pre-Season Tune-Up Hunt

LSBA Fellowship Pre-Season Tune-Up Hunt
This HUNT is open to ALL bowhunters

The LSBA is excited to provide this GREAT OPPORTUNITY to affordably hunt on the largest ARCHERY ONLY day lease bow ranch left in Texas and to continue its promotion and preservation of Texas bow hunting. This is a great chance to tune up your hunting prowess before the archery season opener and to enjoy fellowship with bowhunters from all around the state. Even better, it

Default Great opportunity!

Since I have hunted with both Bowjunkie and Tomme before I wouldn't miss this. Just the hunt alone would be a great value but the entertainment value from these two, man in Vegas a show like this would cost twice this much. I am expecting Tomme to sing to Bowjunkie in his best Perry Como voice.

I look forward to meeting you Hogslayer. I've been on quite a few hunts with the boys myself. They are both good people. Looks like I will be helping the two of them with the event, so I'm sure our paths will cross.

Perry Como? What an insult. Everyone knows I sing like Bing. Gonna be a great hunt. There should be enough wierdos (and I'm not even including me) to make this fun.

Default Spike I am as crazy as Tomme or Mike

Spike,
I am as crazy as both of these guys. This is the second time I will get to go on a fellowship hunt with LSBA, I joined for opportunities like this and get really excited to meet quality people associated with bowhunting. I was out of work for a month last year and packed up my camper and traveled for the month around on public land hunting. I must have missed other hunts and the opportunity to meet my fellow bow hunters.

Default Don't scare spike till he meets me!

Bowjunkie, spike knows you and Tomme, you may scare him before he meets me. To be as crazy as you two is probably bad, crazier is scary...

See ya soon!

To paraphrase Will Rogers "I've never met a bowhunter that wasn't crazy and I LIKE that in a person".

Course some are crazier then others and you two fill that description. Looks like there will be a cast of characters on this hunt, but guys who will do everything they can to help you if you need it.

Default THE BEST PEOPLE I HAVE HAD THE FORTUNE TO KNOW

I really have to be serious, but after hunting with you guys and sharing a camp fire, you are some of the best people I have had the fortune to know. Everyone helps everyone, works together and has a great time. Ego's left at the gate, laugh, jokes and lots of stories, yes even some true ones.... But I would love more of this type thing each year. Hunts to grow the association and get the bowhunters together.

Default Do I ask how he got the name spike

BowJunkie, this may be a dangerous question but did he get the nickname spike from his bunkhouse escapades? If your answer is yes, he sleeps with you and Tomme....

Default hunt approaching

As I hear the numbers for the fellowship hunt, I think we need more hunters. of course it will be hot and I believe if we plan and schedule these in the spring we will get more activity. I hope to see many more hunts from the LSBA as I joined for HUNTS and ONLY HUNTS...but with a keen eye to the legislature activities.

LOL,,,,That was funny Hogslayer. (second post up). Think he got it in the gym locker in school, course he shortened it from Button Spike to just plain Spike from what I've been told

We are looking at doing a few of these a year and can hopefully get one lined up for April. I'm talking to a few places now about this very issue. Would also like to see a return to some of the old LSBA BowFishing tourneys like was held years ago from what I've been told. Might be better to have those when the weather gets hot as we could always do a belly flop into the drink if it gets too hot
