I hunt in the hill country near leakey texas and my whitetail tear it up with in 6 hours.

But they are use to eating it since we have been throwing it out for years.

Typically I'd say that it will take them a couple of days to get use to it, if they haven't seen it before, but after that they will hit it right away.

Having a stationary feeder like this really helps.
