I really appreciate this. I didn't even realize I was in the running for it. I thought it was for new members and renewed members. So, I wasn't even following the "who won what" threads. Kinda in a glum right now not being able to get out and hunt like I want to. Too many things getting in the way. So, I've been passing over hunting threads for the most part because I don't want to READ about hunting I want to BE hunting. If you know what I mean. So, yesterday on a whim I thought I'd open the thread just to see what I wasn't reading. You know, what ranch the hunts would be on and what not. Then when I opened it and saw MY name at the top in BIG BOLD LETTERS I was quite surprised/stunned/confused... Not sure what you'd call it. See, I'd been thinking it was for the old members that were renewing not those who were already current.
Well, I've been hurting for a hog hunt so I won't turn it down. I promise I'll do my best to do up a good story for the mag when I go as well.

 Surprised is an understatement.

Thanks to ABC and all who put this together. Really looking forward to the hunt.

Dena if that was you that called about 9ish last night, sorry we didn't answer. Since moving to San Angelo we've had an overabundance of unwanted calls. So, any call without an ID we don't answer. My apologies. I'll send you a PM on how to reach me now if you'd like on my cell phone. |
