Default Next issue

I'm not trying to complain or start a discussion just asking a question. When will the next magazine be out? I think I may be having some problems with my mail carrier. I've "lost/missed" issues of other magazines over the last year as well. Seems to be happening a bit frequently. Thanks for your time.

As an FYI...as I did not see anything in the nmagazine to reflect the EC'S decision...But the mag has been cut back from 6 issues to 4 issues per year. It will come out quarterly.

Steve...If you have not gotten one since August, let me know and i will try and chase down the reason why and have the new "Office Manager" check on your membership stats.

Hope the year is going good for ya brother.....give a shout sometime and lets BS.

Junkie, I'm glad you brought up membership stats. I dug out my membership card and guess what, it expired 09/03. I don't remember getting a renewal notice but if someone will have one sent to me I'll take care of it. Thanks.

Steve, Mike is correct. The EC voted at the August meeting to cut the magazine back to being a quarterly. This has been under discussion for some years. The magazine costs about $4,500 per issue. The Stovers have done a great job in getting new advertising and put out a quality product, but we just haven't had enough collected revenue to support a $27,000 magazine with the current membership base. There should be a magazine out very soon (the Oct-Dec) and then we will have a quarterly. If you haven't yet gotten an application for renewal, let me know and I'll get back to you.

We sure missed you at the Brushy Hills Hunt. With Spike with a bum knee, I was the only one there that could shoot straight enough to get a pig from the home group and we needed you there to uphold the traditional end and to keep a certain Irish individual out of the "sauce".

Tomme, if you can get a renewal form sent I would appreciate it. I don't remember getting one before but that doesn't mean much.

I knew I was missing out on a lot of fun. As for the sauce; I'm usually the fly in the "sauce" bowl myself!

I have been shooting just enough to stay in form. Let me know if anything else comes up for later this season or spring.

Mike does that have the current office manager's address? If not, we probably need to update that and also send it to Steve. Form could still be used, but doesn't need to go the circuit.

I haven't checked this section in a while. I just noticed the post. The magazines shipped out today. Remember this is bulk mail and it travels up to 10 days slower than first class.
