Reminder--Ed Foreman Youth Essay Contest Deadline 01/31

The Ed Foreman Youth Essay Contest's deadline is January 31, 2007.

It is open to all Youth LSBA Members, under the age of 18, 500-1000 words on "What bowhunting means to me."

The official winner will be announced at the LSBA Banquet in March, 2007.

Guys if you know a young bowhunter that could use a good hunting opportunity, this is a great chance for them to earn it for themselves. Last year's winner was a guest of Larry & Tina Zimmerman at the Bar E for a weekend hog/exotic hunt. We are still making arrangements, but this year's winner will have a great hunt as well.

Please get some young bowhunters working on this and send them to me (via e-mail is best) ASAP!
