It is that time of year again for the youth bowhunters of the Lone Star Bowhunters Association!! Get your entries in to the LSBA!!! This is a great opportunity for some of the finest bowhunting in Texas! Good luck!!

Who was Ed Foreman?

Ed Foreman was the Texas Bowhunting and Bowfishing Records Chairman for many years, and set the benchmark of standards for future records chairmen. Ed and a friend lost their lives while bowfishing on an East Texas Lake. His unselfish efforts as an official TBBR and Pope & Young measurer of encouraging bowhunters in his area to enter thier trophies into the TBBR records system will go unmatched. Many thanks to Ed for his involvement in the Texas Bowhunting and Bowfishing Records and the Lone Star Bowhunters Association!!

My apologies for the delaying in announcing the winner, who was Caleb Reece of Austin.......he wrote a great essay about his grandfather. I will check on posting it here on the forum. Caleb will be enjoying a hunt at Bugscuffle Ranch later this year! Thanks again to Bryan and Debbie Keeling for donating the hunt to support the Ed Foreman Youth Essay Contest!
