The LSBA is hosting a Youth Shoot at Mall of the Mainland on Saturday, June 20th from 11:00-3:00 in the Sears wing of the mall. There will also be other events for children to do.
Volunteers are appreciated! This will be a great opportunity to introduce urban youth to archery. Most of the kids that will be at this event do not have a chance to experience the outdoors or archery.

It was a great event. We introduced a lot of new kids to archery. We even had a few adults that never shot a bow, and said that they would be heading down to Santa Fe Archery and getting them a bow. I think that there will be a few new kids into archery now, and hopefully bowhunting soon. Bob

It was a fun event and hopefully we will have a few new archers from it! We are invited back for other events too. They have Kids' Day every last Saturday of the month. Hopefully, we will be able to set up at a few.
