Do you know what it takes to safely enjoy the sport of bowhunting? Join Bass Pro Shops Pro Staff member Dena Kana on Dec. 8 in our Hunting dept. An active member of Lone Star Bowhunters Association and an International Bowhunter Education Program Instructor, Dena is an avid bowhunter with years of experience and through her knowledge, you can become a better archer.

Learn about bowhunting safety your responsibilities in the field, ethics, rules and regulations. Find out how to choose the proper equipment, the importance of razor sharp broadheads, shot placement and distance judging.

Dena can advise you on how to plan your hunt and hunt your plan.

Bring your questions to Dena from 11:00 am 3:00 pm. in our hunting department. Her expertise will help build your confidence in the field.

Thanks again! It is really not that big of a deal!! I just feel honored to have been asked and hope that I can make a difference in bowhunting and with BPS. I guess they figured if I was going to be in the store all the time, they should put me to work.

No, Steve, I haven't over come that fear yet, but I'm learning pretty quickly. As long as I can walk around the archery department and talk to folks and answer questions, I'm okay. Put me on a stage to do a seminar and I have a panic attack.

Brandon, won't you be working or hunting that weekend?? I think Bobby has a group of hecklers that he is planning on bringing out.

If enough hecklers show up, maybe we can plan an LSBA Get Together afterwards.
