Outdoor Fools Day is this Saturday at Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center in Athens. The LSBA will once again set up our Youth Archery Range. The event is from 9:00 to 4:00 on April 10th and there are a lot of activities for kids and their families.
I've had several volunteers back out the last couple of days so were really short on help this year. If you can help out this Saturday for a few hours please let me know. All we're doing is helping youngsters and their families safely fling a few arrows at 3D targets. You don't need to be an archery instructor to volunteer. Post here or email me at rww1626@aol.com.

Thanks to all the volunteers that came out this year to help with Outdoor Fools Day at Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center in Athens. Thanks, Dave, Brian, Timm, Ronny, David, Pittman and Tom.
It was a beautiful day to be outdoors and a lot of visitors came out to Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center. The LSBA has been a part of Outdoor Fools Day since it began in 2006. I was told yesterday that the LSBA Youth Archery Range is the best activity at the event.
If you've never volunteered to help at one of the LSBA youth archery ranges you are missing out on a good time.
