Default Trail Cam Pics from Down South

I've been swamped at work and have had very little time to get online lately, so I thought I would share some pics I have gotten off my trail cams in the past month. The deer still have a while to grow since these pics were taken, so hopefully they will put on some more bone this month. Unfortunately several of our trail cams keep acting up on us and every time someone goes to check them there is only a couple that are functioning properly, so I have a lot less pictures that I was hoping to. For any of you that are interested in the "age" and "score" type thread feel free to throw some guesses out there. Keep in mind that these deer are fed protein for most the year and normally appear to be older than they really are.

The first two pics are of a straight up 12pt. Next is a typical 10pt followed by a buck that has 13pts from what I can tell. He is weak on his left side, but makes up for it on his right. And lastly is just a smaller 8pt that is living in one of our feeder pens and never wants to leave the protein.

Thanks for the comments. The 12pt will definitely be getting at least 2 more years if not 3 before he is on the list. The 8pt will die this year and the 13pt. may or may not depending on how much more horn he puts on and if he turns out to be as old as we are thinking he is. If the wider 10pt is 5.5 we may go ahead and take him as a management deer because with a wet year like we have had and the protein consumption I don't see him breaking 160" next year which would still classify him as a management deer on our place.

Buff,

You may be right when it comes to whitetail...but I can only imagine all the other places you have been to hunt that I can only dream of right now

Dena,

You're right they do tend to get you a little pumped up right before season.

I will be heading back down for a day on September 7th to do our helicopter survey and check cameras, so hopefully I will have a lot more pixels to share then.

That 12 looks old in the face. Hard to tell on the 10, both good deer though.

You're right about the 12's face, but his body says otherwise. We'll have to wait and see him in person to make sure, but if by some strange chance he is 6.5 or older he will just go as a management buck.
