Default getting down to buisness

Getting down to buisness! The hunt is over and it is time to "gether done" knife in hand and preparing to hang and skin and prepare the hogs for the freezer is a part of our hunt that alot of hunters take for granted and pit this to the most aggravating part of the hunt, and the part that is least fun.NOT THE KIDS !It is time for them to learn and be part of the hunt more than ever. The kids enjoy this part my 13 year old armed with a sharp gerber pocket knife cuts the legs to hang and my 3 year old armed with a butter knife starts the process after the hog is hung(or so he thinks). This is the part of the hunt that gives the kids respect for for the hunt and the harvest of wild game of any kind.I know after the kids have joined in on this task I see a sense of pride and fulfillment and the utmost respect for this way of life.To many hunters it is just a hobby but not to the kids it is there chance to show part of there heritage, and take part in some thing that is much bigger than than all of us.This is away of life that all children should acknowledge at least once in there life.Because it is the reason we are here to day.Without hunting and using the game harvested our ancestors would not have been able to survive, and there for we as the human race would ultimately perished. This life style needs to be acknowleged and past on. This way of life is ,a lesson in judgement, respect, self preservation,as well as a history lesson as to how our ancestors survived. This is a lesson learned that so many people try to take away from our youth. All I know is if ever there there is a time where the economy crashes,or for whatever reason it may that my children have to revert to this way of life to survive: lesson learned:And a sense of pride that is so strong and will last a life time, and my ancestors heritage passed on.

BBF that is again "great stuff".

I like that "3yr old armed with a butter knife"!

With quality time and education like you have invested in your kids, I'm sure they will fine young men.
