TPWD Outdoor Fools Day is April 5th this year at Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center in Athens. You will be helping youngsters and their families safely fling a few arrows at 3D targets. Everyone is welcome to volunteer to help. You don't need to be an experienced bowhunter or instructor. The hours are 9:00 to 4:00 on Saturday.
Post here if you want to help out.

That is great guys, it is persons like you that donate a lot of your time in introducing kids to archery what makes the LSBA a Great Association. I hope that others will join you at the event and will want to help. I wish that it was closer for us. Thanks for what you do for the kids and the LSBA. Bob

Buff, Lassenator, Bowhunter26, Bowhunterspirit, Pittman and Chris, 2050Z and yours truly have volunteered to get-r-done.
We plan to put a lot of smiles on a lot of kids faces and their parents too!
You still have time to volunteer. The more the merrier! This is what the LSBA does to promote archery and bowhunting with kids and their parents. Many of the visitors to Outdoor Fools Day may not have had an opportunity to experience outdoor activities and its our goal to make sure they have a positive experience safely flinging a few arrows at 3D targets. You're more than welcome to join us.

Great picture and I REALLY admire what you guys do with the kids.
Unfortunately, I'm trying to save gas this weekend, by kayak fishing in Salt Lake with my wife. Poor as I am in retirement I must fish and hunt for food.
