My Hunt this weekend

I went to Bluff Creek Wildlife Ranch this weekend in Mason,Tx. To kill some time. It was a very weird place like nothing I had ever been to before. I didn't like alot of the things that they did, but most ranches that do the ram hunt thing are all the same I guess. I did manage to take a pretty nice catalina goat. If I knew how to attatch a picture on here I would do it.

Nice goat. I do not want to detract from this thread. But, what was it that you did not like about the hunt? I've been thinking of taking my son on one of these, so would like to hear the good and bad of them. Thanks

Well....... The people were nice. We had a blast, but I didn't like riding into an open field that appeared to be 100 or so acres with no trees, and shooting this goat. My buddy Alex though shot the $185 ram and it was on 350 acres with trees and rocks. So he got to spot and stalk. I enjoyed his hunt alot better than mine. As far as a place to go kick back and hang out with some pretty descent people it was awesome. I just am not hyped up on hunts like that. There prices were a little high on some of the animals, but the prices is starting to get high on all ranches.
