I've taken over temporarily as the new editor of our quarterly magazine. Now I know that many of you have submitted articles over the years that were never published. Of course we've had several editors over the years so I can't promise I can find your story. However Dan's promised to send me everything he's got but if you think he might not have yours, feel free to send it to me again:

Also, I know in the past there have been issues with getting the magazine out on time and even with people never getting their magazine. Believe it or not this was very rarely Dan's fault and usually due to a, "need" for something to be added to the issue before it could be printed. Also, due to a multitude of demands on our membership chair's time as well as a transition of the position from one person to two others, the membership list was not as organized as it could have been.
Fast forward to the current state of the organization and I have to tell you I'm really excited. As many of you know, Bob Barnett has taken over as President and Danny Deaver has taken over memberships. Both of these gentlemen are both extremely intelligent and meticulously organized. In fact over the last couple weeks Danny has been updating the membership list and many of you have probably received renewal notices. Long story short, we should be getting the magazines out in a much more timely manner in the near future.
So that I'm sure to do my part, I'm gonna do my best to put at least a couple together this summer (sometimes it's good being a teacher). So if any of you have any magazines with pics (or without) or suggestions for articles please e-mail them to me. I'll do my best to make sure they make it in.
