Default Hog Down

I went hog hunting last night and was able to stick a decent hog. He weighed 100 pounds or so. I spotted him just after sun down about 3/4 of a mile away out in the middle of an open field. I slipped off in a creek and snuck as close to him as I could then I had to come out of the creek as I ran into water that was to deep to wade. I stayed tight against the trees so that maybe he wouldn't see me.The only thing that was in the field that I could get between me and the hog was a big Pecan tree. He was about 10 yards from the tree so I figured if I could get the tree between me and him I would be able to get close for a shot. I had to work my way around the edge of the creek about a half mile to get the tree between us. After a long slow sneak around the edge of the creek I finally got the tree between us. Now I had to sneak another half mile back across the open field keeping the tree between us. I finally got to about 5 yards from the tree and was working for a shot when SNAP I stepped on a small limb that I didn't see. The hog took off but I guess it was dark enough and I was wearing Real Tree AP camo so he couldn't figure out what I was. He stopped at about 30 yards quartering away and looked back at me. I was at full draw so when he stopped I snapped a shot at him and spined him. He went down were he stood and didn't move again. When I was dressing him out I saw that the Rage 2 blade broad head had cut his spine completely in two. It was a lot of work to get the shot but man was it fun. I am working on the video and will post what I have soon. I was by myself so I didn't get the shot but I have the after shot stuff.
