As many of you know, I live in Santa Fe about 25 miles from Galveston. Hurricane Ike came through and really left the area in disarray. My heart goes out to all who were affected by this storm. It is not something that I would like to experience again!
We were blessed and did not receive much damage at home, but we were without electricity for a week after the storm at home. Our electricity was also out for two weeks at the office. I am running WAY behind on memberships and renewals, plus some other requests. I am slowly catching back up and have gotten all renewals and second notices out in the mail as of today. I have several memberships and renewals to process and I should be caught up with those by the end of this week. I wanted to say THANK YOU for your patience during this time and for supporting the LSBA!
