Bowhunter - I think the material in the newer blind may be a factor. We've got several Double Bull blinds (T2, T5 and Matrix) that were bought prior to their being bought by Primos and they havent faded (yet).

Too, we've have several Ameristep blinds - early model Brickhouse's faded to a pink-colored camp pattern due to UV damage. More recent Intimidator blinds didn't fade too bad, but did experience sun/weather rot after being left in place for three consecutive seasons (we'd put'em up in August and take'em down in February).

Newer Ameristep's (Carnivore) has held up well this season - no tears, fading or problems encountered.
