I have only shot one 3-D practice round using the Hunter's classification stakes I believe. I beat my host that day so I haven't been invited back.
Just what does a person have to score to be competitive in these events. All my competition experience has been with muzzle loaders. I can hold my own with them, but don't want my age to be my score.

The Brazoria Bowman is the closest range for me to shoot. It is part of the Greenwood Gun club where I do 90% of my ML shooting. So I have a place to shoot close by but have not taken the time to do so in the past.
Might try next year if I feel I can be competitive. So how great do I need to be to win one of those nice belt buckles?
