Memberships on the internet (payment and all)
 

Was thinking it would be nice to use the internet to pay my membership with a credit card!

Before the big change came we could. It would be nice if LSBA set up a PayPal account (for example) so those who wished to could make membership payments in this manner.

The alternative is for everyone to buy a life membership. :wink:

this is starting to look good 7 responses and all positive.... If anyone has a good reason why this is not a great idea, I hope they will speak up...

Barring a valid reason as why not to do this I am all for it as well. I agree with biggen that getting the merchandise via internet would be handy also.

Something doesn't seem right with all this agreement. :shock:

problem maybe that (from my very limited knowledge) most of the EC council and president are not internet user friendly and may never see this post!

Most of the EC are hooked up to the internet, and thier e-mail addresses are listed in the LSBA mag.. Makes no difference, I am part of the council and I will bring this to the table at the next EC meeting.

It would be very simply to set up a Paypal account for the LSBA.
I say we go for it.

Good idea. There is plaenty of software available to do it and Sp!ke had discussed this same thing before the forum had crashed/was hacked last year.

Mike would that be allowed on this site? Seems I remember something about this site not being "owned" by the LSBA. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The good thing about PayPal is it's real easy to use. TOOOOOO easy. :( :twisted:

Seems like the internet site is getting more and more activity. Like the way it allows us to feel connected to our organization.....

I agree it would be a great tool!
