2008 Elections???
 

I know that the officer's seats are up for re-election every year but the Regional Rep seats serve 2 year terms each time and alternate elections.

But can't seem to remember, which Regional Reps are coming up for re-election?

Anyone know for certain?

Can I make a motion that we increase participation this year and take online nominations here and via e-mail?

According to the nomination ballot from last year, up for re-election~

Region 75 Mike Harr
Region 76 Elvis Jennings/Steve Whittington
Region 77 Brandon Hare
Region 78 David Lynch (He was recently appointed to fill an empty seat)
Region 79 Vacant

Elvis has moved to Mississippi or Alabama (I can't remember which). You may want to contact him. ;)

I hope I'm not up yet, as many folks as I have POed in the last few days :shock:

Tracy Steve Whittington took over Elvis's unexpired term. My hat is off to Steve as he has made some long drives from Denton to represent LSBA including coming to the beach party in Rockport. That's what, 500 miles?

I don't know if Dean Titworth has one more year to go or not in region 79.

Probably worthwhile if some folks like Mike Harr let us know if they are willign to run again, as I'd be willing to renominate anyone who has been willing to serve and who has been active.

I'm going to talk to the folks at Clyde's Archery and perhaps Tejas, to see if I can find any suckers......er persons wanting to give back to bowhunting. Ok, maybe it's the same :D but as you all know being on the EC has it's share of heartburn and expense in terms of $$$$ and time, but if you love bowhunting, it can also be real rewarding.

Nice try Buff, but I have ticked off way more than you. My ostrich comment got me lots of feedback.

If you guys know anyone who is willing to run, AND committed to being active and not just a name for the positon...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get them involved. We need help.
