Food Plot is looking Good
I disc up my Clover about a month ago behind the house. I spread 1000 pounds of lime and 500 pounds of fertilizer and then spread 200 pounds of purple hull peas on about 3 acres. It has rained more days than it had not. My little food plot looks GOOD. :D you can't see it in the picture but most every plant has been eaten on but for the first time in several years it is growing faster than they can eat it down.

Looks good Buff,I just bought 25 more acres that joins my place. As soon as it dryes a little i'm going to plant me some peas too.

Those peas are looking good Buff. Nothing like a lot of rain to really get them going. Your mamas will really be appreciating that easy access protein right about now.

Looks real good, critters gotta love those peas.

Lookin' good for the home team! :D

Dang, Buff, send me a mess or two of those peas. That's some good eatin right there.
Looking good. |
You're gonna need to watch out for people poaching your peas as well as your deer! :)

:D :D I have never killed a deer out of this food plot  The teenagers that live down the road took 5 or 6 last year :D

Thats a good looking food plot. Our oats plots have long been dried up and I just dont know what to plant. Those peas might be a good idea.

I have over the years planted about everything youi can think of. They like the peas as good or better than anything I have tried. I had Clover knee high and nothing would eat it.
