BOBSTER finally lets the air out of something.

This has been a slow year for the BOBSTER. Never figured on falling in a rut when it comes to hogs. I haven't been able to kill anything up until now. Thought we were going to have to go to the grocery store instead of the woods. Finally had this boy come out, but he wanted to play around more than he wanted to come and eat corn. The next day he was at the feeder when I walked up. I took the 25 yard shot and he only made it 40 yards.

Congrats Bobster! Looks like a real bruiser of a hog. Any idea what he weighed? Great pic too.

Linedawg, I would have to say that he is not over 200 lbs. Probably 180 to 200 on the hoof. Walking Eagle, thanks on the photo, took that one myself. I seem to get better photos taken if I take them myself, with the exception of frontloader taking them, I can't forget to give him credit on several of my pics that have been posted in the past. It seems that I always get my head cut off or they are standing to far back when taking the photos. Maybe they are telling me something when they cut my head off. I have a question about resizing the photos. I took this photo on 1.2 meg., how do I resize it and keep it from distorting the photo. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

CONGRATS!! Man it feels good to have a Ground check photos after a drought huh?! Great photo and good looking critter...looks like he has some good Russian charecteristics in him.

What photo editing software to you use? Most have the ability or function to "resize" in the menu. From there you can reduce the outside dimensions of the photo in inches without losing resolution. Just reduce the inches...but keep the pixels per inch the same. If you want, email it to me and I can resize it for you, I use 'Paintshop Pro 7'.

Did you get it on video? If not, it doesn't count. :D

Well, I guess I know where my next meal will be coming from. Baywood Foods, as they have pork butts on sale.

That is a real nice pig. I would like to see one like that in the daylight. Do you have any more staked out that are too big to run?

Congrats little brother and go for another one.

Nice Pig Bobster. Man it sure looks bigger then 200 lbs.

Ed, don't go to the store, I've got a couple of old pork chops and a venison steak that I don't need now that my season has turned out well. Just trim off the freezer burned portion and I think you'll find the part left in the middle rather tasty.

tomme is the one that stakes them out, word is that he has a couple staked out for the coming hunt
