Bill Negley passes at 92... I just read on another site that Texas bowhunting legend, LSBA Hall of Fame member Bill Negley has passed away. That's one of a few old school Texas bowhunters that I would have liked to have met. Prayers for the family and happy hunting in the sky to Bill. |

That's too bad. I think I recall when we voted him into the Bowhunter Hall of Fame. I never met him personally, but he sounded like a great hunter. Hopefully I'll see him some day in the Indian's "Happy Hunting Grounds". |

Sad day indeed. A true Bowhunting Hero throughout the world, not just Texas. God Speed Bill and I'm sure in Heaven a broadhead never dulls, the wind is always in your face and there's game a plenty. |

I've read that he's done some crazy stuff in regard to hunting. And I mean that in a good way. Also, he drew and shot a heavy, I think 90+# traditional bow. Could have my facts wrong, but I don't think so. Sad to see them go. Thats for sure. |
