There's a membership drive going on!
 

Some of you folks may be sitting around this evening thinking, "What can I do for LSBA?". Some of you folks may be sitting around this evening thinking, "What is LSBA doing for me?". Some of you may be sitting around this evening with no cerebral activity what so ever! :lol:

Here's what anybody can do:
Think of anyone you can that is remotely interested in bowhunting. Or they may not even be a bowhunter (I signed up a nonbowhunter yesterday). Call them and tell them about how the LSBA is the only organization fighting for bowhunter's rights in the state of Texas. Tell them about the cool magazine they get every 3 months. Tell them about the hunts. Tell them about the 3-D shoots. Tell them about the awesome t-shirts. Tell them something! It is a crying shame that we only have 900+ members in the LSBA. Everyone should know someone who is a hunter/bowhunter that is not a member. Call them.

Make it easy for them to join. Here's the scoop:

I am no super LSBA member compared to the people here that have poured their heart into this group for years. But I do not want to be in the group of bowhunters who sat around on their collective thumbs and spun in place while bowhunter's rights, opportunities, and hunting seasons are taken away.

Look around you! Surely you know someone who is interested in archery and would benefit from a membership in this great organization. For LSBA to be strong and to grow, we need members that aren't asking what LSBA has done for them. We need members that through their own actions have left no doubt, what they have done for LSBA.

I signed my mom and my dad up this last past week. Sometimes you don't have to look very far to find new members. :)

It is great to see the adults signing up the parent(s) that introduced them to archery!! What better way to say "Thanks"!

It's coming down to the wire and we still need 40-50 new members to make 1,000. Call your bow hunting friends and encourage them to join.
