Shot a hod today. 95 lb guilt. Whish this had been at the Grunts and Gobbles, cause I would be carrying hom the "Pig!" 60 lb Great Plains recurve, compressed sitka spruce shaft and Wensel Woodmen head. Total of 725 grain arrow, went right thru!!! Gotta love this stuff!!

Way to go Graybow.

Them Great Plains bows sure love heavy arrows don't they? I like my longbow.

Thanks guys! ANd to make things even better, I took my 4 yo son fishing and he catches a 4 1/2lb black bass on a gold wire perch hook and a zebco 202! He had a big fight with that one. I couldn't believe it! We both got Hogs (Hawgs) today!!!
Losthawg, you are right about those Great Plains and heavy arrows. They love'em! I've shot this bow for 5 years now. It's the only thing I shoot anymore. Carried it all over! Wich longbow do you have? I have the Red River Gray recurve. I've been thinking about trying a longbow someday. But I don't know if I can put my recurve down long enough to try one! lol
