I got a Hoyt Dorado for Father's Day/Birthday. It's a 3 piece take down recurve. I don't know much about recurves and I'm learning as I go. The Dorado is 60" long. I got 40 lb. limbs to start with and can go heavier later after I get some practice time under my belt.

I sent it off to David Soza of DAS Archery/Kinetic Bows. He's gonna set it up with his silencing kit and a custom string for no charge due to the fact that he has been wanting to get his hands on a Dorado to get some specs off of it. Can't wait to get it back and start shooting!

Chew, I really hope you enjoy it. You know? With gas prices and all, that just might be the way to go. Get you a bike and just stow and go..... ;)

I'm gonna have to look into a 3 piece of some kind...........
