2008 New Brunswick Black Bear Opportunity
 

I just got a call from Jimmy Dort, New Brunswick Black Bear Guide, letting me know he's got 4 unclaimed bear tags for Zone 21 for this Spring/Fall. The best period to hunt NB's Spring Bears is during the last week in May and first two weeks in June, and the June Dates are open.

I've posted here about Jimmy's Service before, he's one of the few guides whose confident enough in his abilities to offer a 50% refund if you don't get the opportunity to harvest a bear with your bow. Also, Jimmy limits the group size to 3 hunters per week.

Remember; New Brunswick requires IBEP for all bowhunters; tree stand harnesses and vests are also required.

Sweeet! Are there any trophy fees? Is it a 1 or 2 bear province? What is the "realistic" chance of getting on a P&Y? I have South Africa in mid July but this could be a good'un!
