Find or post your lease

We are trying something new. Some of us feel that the LSBA website should be the first place bowhunters should go to find or post hunting lease availability in Texas. We have started the LSBA Lease Guide for exactly this. It is 100% free and anyone can use it, members or guests. So if anyone knows anybody who has a lease available, please let them know about this. We need to start getting leases advertised on there.

Here is the link.

Looks good - should be helpful. How about adding a category for day leases?

Any ideas on how to get this out to landowners? Not too many on this website, I'm afraid. I'll send it to a few guys that post a lot of leases on deertexas.com and texasleaseconnection.com

Try contacting the Landowners Association of Texas and possibly the Cattlemans Association.

Great idea, I have used sites like deer texas and felt totally ripped off at the end of my membership, the only thing sites like that do it increase the prices of deer leases. I'm will post openings on our coryell county place when the time comes.

How does deertexas.com increase the price of leases? Landowners don't pay to advertise there so there shouldn't be any additional cost built in to cover that. I guess you could consider the cost of your membership, but that's the only added expense I see.

No doubt higher priced leases are advertised more, but I don't think deertexas or any other advertising outlet like this increases the price. When I got on my lease 2 years ago I told my lease manager to advertise on deer texas. We were trying to fill our lease. It helped too, there were at least two hunters that found the lease because of the site. It was not the only place it was advertised.

Cheap leases with good quality deer don't need too much advertising.
