Last night about 8 I decided to try and go on a hunt,,alone . I wasnt scared..had my texasboars feeder light going at a feeder and my hawglite on my bow..dang it was cold but I decided to go out anyway. I got in my quad pod and about 11ish I hear a hog,,a few small ones were at the feeder but this one wasnt coming in. I drew and put my hawglite on him slowly and released..I have yet to get any fancy knocks so I heard it hit and thought,, I got him..
NO blood no help and no sober friends..I wasnt going to post about this because I missed..yes I missed a few inches high and back. I waited till t got warm today to look for him..I was testing a new broadead,not an expandable..but a new style. I have yet to come to my conclusion on these. He would have been a good 300 pounder but the yotes got him last night and the buzzards helped me find him today..I would have scored him but the innards were gone. I got Lauren to take a few pics. Not a trophy to some but this is going to be a great year.so sorry for the pic quality but Lauren is just going to be 5 tommorow.

I coudlnt believe how fast they got on it..buzzards and yotes..as I was looking they were yiping,.when Lauren and I pulled up she wanted me to shoot them:D

Attaboy.... great start for the new year... you are a hog killing machine... if big hogs make you nervous a lazer sighted .45 might make you fell all warm and fuzzy
