LSBA 3D Jacket Pickup 10/30!
 

Guys and Gals,

I know it’s been a long wait, but I can finally say that the Jackets for both the State Shoot and the “All Region” are finally done. I apologize for it taking as long as it did, but I was at the mercy of the distributor and the embroidery shop which did not share the same sense of urgency that I did. In an attempt to save the organization a good deal of money I would like to get as many of these jackets out without having to physically ship them. I know that several of you are located near the Houston area, so I would like to setup a jacket pickup for next Tuesday 10/30 at the new Bass Pro Shops located in Pearland at the intersection of Beltway 8 and Hwy 288 between the hours of 6pm and 9pm. I haven’t had a chance to speak with management there, but I am hoping to be able to setup in the archery department. For some reason if that falls through you will see me camped out at the front of the store.

There are a few people that I do not have email addresses for so if you could please look over the list of names below and if you know anyone please forward this message to them. Also if you will not be able to make it, but have someone that is willing to pick your jacket up for you please reply to this email and let me know who is picking your jacket up so I can keep tabs on them. I would also appreciate it if you are planning on coming by to please reply and let me know. I should have all of your addresses on file, but just to make sure they get to the right place please send me your shipping address if there is no chance that you will be able to have your jacket picked up on Tuesday.

I'll be there...oh wait I have to be:) I have had a pretty good response so far via email, so I am looking forward to meeting up with several of the jacket winners tomorrow night. I spoke with Robin in the archery dept. about sitting up there and giving them out, but am now waiting on the dept. manager to give me a call and give me the green light. They don't see it being a problem, just have to check with the higher ups.

Brandon, I just spoke with Viet, the Promotions Manager at Pearland. He said no problem setting up in the Archery or Hunting Department. They also have a conference room available. Give him a call and let him know what you want to do and when you are on your way. I left a message for you with his contact info!

Just confirmed that I will be setup in the archery department by the rail looking down over the store. I am planning on getting there shortly before 6pm, so I look forward to seeing some of you there.

Here are some pics from the jacket pickup last night at Basspro. You'll notice that the State Championship jackets are all black and the "All Region" jackets are brown. Hunter will have to "grow" into her jacket...the smallest I could order was XS and I think she needs and XXS:)

Brandon, I think the jackets were a great idea! I also enjoyed seeing some of the shooters at BPS! Thanks to you, Erica, and kids for meeting us out there!

Hunter will definitely get several years of wear out of hers. :)
