That would be 2011
Tomme is getting OLD:grandpa::p;)

Tomme 12-06-2010 10:52 PM

Dang it that 1 key and the 2 key are just too close together. Yeah as Ronny said, it's 2011 and I can still probably beat him in a mile race.

Already got the first two reservations.

bountyhunter 12-07-2010 06:27 AM

Dang I'll be up at the Oklahoma Selfbow Jamboree that weekend. You folks have fun and save a few for us working folks....;)

TEXWILD 12-07-2010 05:56 PM

I will be making this hunt. For the kids is it bow only.

TEXWILD 12-07-2010 06:29 PM

I just read the ranch rules and guns alowed. My daughter better practice her bow.

Yes bow only

recar 12-09-2010 10:28 PM

ok.. I have myself and 2 kids.... how do I work this?

Son is 16 daughter is 13.

Can I bring them both?
Do I have to be with them when they are hunting?
I dont mind paying for the boy if I need too.
Would the bunk house fee be 25.00 for each of us?

Death from Above 12-10-2010 10:25 AM

I am thinking this is gonna be a must for us this year.

Tomme 12-10-2010 05:05 PM

Recar, bring them both. Part of what LSBA is all about is getting the kids into the woods. Yes the bunkhouse fee is $25/kid and your hunt is the standard $150. The kids don't have to be hunting with you, but I would want them in your area. By that, if you want to put one of you on a feeder and string the other two along the feed route in your area, that's ok. You of course are responsible for their safety, etc. but we don't make you hunt the same spot. Heck I want all of you to score.

kellyg 12-11-2010 10:16 AM

How much for a hunting adult(me) hunting youth(Katie) and Katies camera man?

Tomme 12-12-2010 07:06 PM

Kelly it will be the regular fee of $150 ($75/day) for the two day hunt on you, and your daughter and her cameraman would be a $25 bunkhouse fee for each.

recar 12-13-2010 09:48 AM

I talked to both of the kids and it looks like Grunts and Gobblers for our spring break trip this year. I will get deposits in this week.

Man I love the LSBA!!! we do some neat stuff around here!!!!

slayer 12-13-2010 04:34 PM

I want to reserve spots for me and my twin 12 year old boys. Scott, Josh & Jared Johnson (XXL, medium, medium). Can I pay for the whole trip upfront on a CC?

biggen 12-13-2010 08:42 PM

Yes, you can pay for the whole trip up front. Not sure on the credit card!!

Tomme,

Can we pay for this through Dena at all. Like I did for beauxs and Reds trip. It would nice to be able to use pay pal.

Death from Above 12-15-2010 08:16 AM

I always just build a brush blind, kinda like at first point. Pop ups work good also.. And we also used to spot and stalk the roads at night.. This is fun..

slayer 12-15-2010 07:22 PM

Can't wait, my boys and I are going to have some serious fun chasing piggies!

Death from Above 12-15-2010 09:20 PM

Looks like MArshall and I will be in. Lucky that falls on his Spring BReak!

biggen 12-16-2010 07:59 AM

just sittin by a bush works great on piggies, pop-up for turkeys. Low tripods work good also!!

Yes Bill you can go thru paypal!!

Tomme 12-16-2010 11:41 AM

Some of these have been answered, but to sum up you can pay using credit card or with a check through Dena. Nonrefundable deposit is 50%. Exit 110 you can make sure that Ronny brings me back my stands and can use those, (also duck decoys as it looks like I'll be an old man before I get to use them in Cumby).

I like short tripods for pigs (six to 10 feet). Popups are good for turkey, and practice your calling.

No one has yet won the concrete pig, so if you shoot trad and want to put $5 in and sign the sucker then maybe you can take it home.

Looks like it's shaping up to be a good hunt.

Checks in the mail....gonna be a fun time.

Be good to hunt with you again Ray. I think I can promise warmer weather than we experienced at Elm Creek. Brrr, now that was cold. Just be careful of Biggen and rns. Those boys are ok if their meds are right, but that seldom happens. Now Exit 110 can usually be trusted, even if he does come from a bad environment, and boy can he sing.
