As usual I have a slightly different take:

The entire letter is bogus and fabricated. In my opinion written by someone in PETA or HSUSA just to create in fighting.

1. Anyone of true NDN heritage does not refer to their relatives as "my half Cherokee grandfather".
2. Anyone of true NDN heritage knows the bow and arrow are sacred and would never reply with ," bow hunting is for people who have no better way to harvest game .A sure kill is a gun kill."

My advice to everyone is to ignore this. Hopefully what ever magazine this was supposedly written to will also ignore it.

I am unable to comment due to bandwidth and the countless "man/woman hours" it would take for the moderators of this fine site to clean it up. I would also primarily respond with a long sentence of adjectives, personal pronouns and action verbs.

I had a running joke with the guys on my last job. Someone would say something to get someone else riled up. Then let him get going & get real hacked off & we would make the ol reel'em in fishing sign. Guess my point is, I aint gonna bite on this one......
