Tomme,

Do you have any specific dates yet for the hunts in January or February yet? I am trying to schedule a hunt with my father and my wife and don’t want to schedule over the weekend.

Chunky,

I would be interested if we could get an off-season LSBA exotic group hunt at the Baker ranch.

As far as the youths hunting for free, I (as well as several other LSBA members I know) would hate to see a youth unable to make a hunt for monetary reasons. We could ask for a donation in addition to the regular hunt fee that would go to cover any youths. And/or we could start a fund that would be designated to cover the cost of youths at group hunts.

I don't have a hunt set for Jan. We hope to have a Javelina hunt in Feb and the Grunts and Gobbles in April.

The youth deer hunt next fall will be free.

I do appreciate your thoughts in terms of youths. So far we have been lucky enough to have the ranches allow youth to hunt free if accompanied by a paid hunter. That's a good deal for everyone, the youth, the parent and even the ranch as they are building up a future hunter clientele.

A javi hunt in Feb. Isn't anyone going to the Texas Shoot Out? That is February 8-11. I went to the last one and I wouldn't miss this one for anything. It is a good time if you are with the right people.

I would not set in a 2 mile long line, waiting to get in, if they had dancing girls.

Amen to that Buff!

Well, after my visit with the Doc today, looks like I'm not going huntin in January! There goes the rest of my season and my New Mexico hunt!! So Tomme, looks like I will be around the puter after all! lol

So Tomme, who's bringing the rescue boat to the G&G hunt this year? :)

Graybow 11-14-2007 11:13 AM

Resue boat! lol I bet the "Cumby Bunch" bring thier own with them!!! Or at least some extra "beverages" that they were hollering for!!

That aint funny.:banned: But I bet I have a cooler with me at all times.;)

TXHunter ours javelina hunt will be later in the month and be a lot smaller. So no line Buff, but you'll have to bring your own dancing gals. Would this make it...Buffalo Gals won't you come out tonight...and dance by the light of the moon. LOL, Now that's FUNNY!

Kelly I think the Cumby crew should get one of those military surplus WWII Ducks for the hunt. That way they'd be prepared.

I vote to NOT have the javelina hunt the weekend of the 22nd. (for purely selfish reasons)

Graybow 11-15-2007 09:53 AM
