DFA I'm deadly with about anything. Unlike Brad who is only deadly with his flatulence. I'm heading down tonight to get set up for tomorrow. See you all tomorrow.

It was a DRY but fun hunt!! I have to brush up on my Desert hunting skills!!! The Balloon shoot was a hoot but if I was shooting a compound they wouldn't have had a chance!! Pics to come soon!!

It was a good and fun hunt. I think we had 9 trad shooters and 9 KIDS.
Thanks Brushy Hills Ranch and Pete Denney for letting us do this hunt.

Glad the flash floods did not take place this year. Hope everyone made it home safely. Can't wait for the pics.

Nope, one pig hit but not found several saw or heard turkeys close but could not get them to respond to calls. Everybody saw a lot of deer because they are starving to death and loved the corn!!

We might've took some flash floods this year. It is DRY in south Texas

LostHawg 03-22-2011 10:06 AM

No Hawgs, huh?

Bummer.

Maybe next year...

Tomme 03-25-2011 09:54 PM

I almost had a shot with my recurve at 10:15 PM, but the Concrete Pig curse got me and they spooked.

Really, really dry. The deer and turkey ate all the corn on the corn route.

LostHawg 03-25-2011 11:06 PM

Yeah. It IS dry...:(
